The Social Ministry is responsible for supplies and set-up for monthly social events (and other events as requested by the Ministry Teams) by preparing coffee, setting tables, preparing the serving table for whatever food is being served, and ensuring that the kitchen is stocked with paper goods ahead of each function.
The EBC Women's Team is called H.I.S. -- Hearts in Service, and we are just that! We are a ministry team that is passionate about women of all ages. At the forefront of our ministry is our desire to see women immerse themselves in the Word of God. We do this by offering several different Bible studies where women get together and get real with one another while traversing through the scriptures together. We are also a ministry that likes to have fun with great fellowship! We offer a book club (A Novel Idea), a mentoring Titus 2 ministry (Sole Sisters), a relaxing and rejuvenation retreat on the Cape, and an annual ladies gathering where we eat and fellowship together (Ladies Tea and Fellowship).
Those are just a few of the things the Women's Team has to offer you; visit our website at www.ebcwomen.blogspot.com for more information.
"And He said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature." Mark 16:15
The Missions Team at Easton Baptist Church is dedicated to spreading the love of Jesus Christ both locally and across the globe through prayer, through spiritual and financial support of our Missionaries, by hosting special events, and by coordinating short-term mission trips.
Our Mission Statement: To direct the church in the financial and spiritual support of missionaries by informing and educating the local church about what God is doing in the mission field, proposing the church's annual mission budget, soliciting and encouraging prayer for missionaries at home and abroad, organizing and hosting special events at the church that focus on the ministries of people spreading the good news of Jesus Christ.
The Discipleship Ministry's function is to lead newcomers and believers in various formal discipleship activities including: the guiding of new-comers through the basics of Christianity and the EBC covenant/values/beliefs; the leading of members through the discovery of Spiritual Gifts and the gaining of discipline through study and a personal walk with Christ; the training of believers in leadership, mentoring, and witnessing to the world; and the equipping of members for ministry both inside and outside the church. In coordination with the Pastor and the Diaconate, the team oversees the membership process including the delivery of new member classes and the determination of individual membership qualification.
Are you hurting? There's a place for help and hope! Come join us at Easton's Celebrate Recovery. Celebrate Recovery (CR) is a Christ-centered, Bible-based 12 step program which focuses on God's love and transforming power. CR is a safe, confidential place where you can share, pray, and grow with others willing to get real about their own hurts, hang-ups, and habits. CR crosses all denominational and cultural boundaries and is the collaborative effort of Easton Baptist Church, The Fellowship, and Holy Cross Parish. CR meets every Thursday night, 7-9pm at Easton Baptist Church, 197 Bay Rd., North Easton, MA. For more information - contact Nancy at 508-238-6841 or email@example.com
The Men's Ministry Team at EBC offers exciting opportunities for men of all ages to fellowship together, grow in the Lord, and to serve alongside each other. One way we have done this is attending the Men's Night Out every other month at the Halifax Country Club. After a great meal is served, we enjoy a meaningful time of worship, followed by a Christian motivational speaker. Our present service project is updating and repairing a set of cabins at Lakeside Christian Camp in the Berkshires. What a joy it is to work alongside a brother in Christ and share a meal and devotional together. Great bonds of friendship have been formed by working together in His name. Some of these memories will last forever!
To exalt God and assist in leading people into His presence by planning and leading worship services, including music, drama, and reading scripture.
"We love you so much that we were delighted to share with you not only the gospel of our God but our lives as well, because you had become so dear to us." I Thessalonians 2:8 ( N I V)
Easton Baptist Church's Outreach Team is dedicated to spreading God's love to the community through events such as Christmas Caroling, Easter Brunch, donations to Compass Point Ministries, and other events throughout the year. The goal of the team is to reach out to the greater Easton and surrounding communities to share with them the love that we have for our Savior, Jesus Christ. We are motivated to action by the love that Jesus demonstrated for us on the cross, and it is because of that love that we happily serve Him!
To Provide a safe environment for teens to explore a relationship with Christ through various outlets so they might choose to live a life of following Jesus and become active participants in the Body of Christ.
The main goals of the ministry are to provide a safe haven for teens, to help teens build healthy relationships with peers as well as adult leaders, to allow moments where teens can experience God's love,
to strengthen teens in their spiritual growth, and to encourage teens in their participation
within the greater church family - all will be done through weekly gatherings, along with
special events including times of fellowship, study, worship, service, and adventure. This
is a fellowship focused on friendship, fun, and faith.
